Functional Description

Erequired to polish 1st stage turbine disk p/n 4085001 to restore disk aft outer rim surface for eddy current inspection. Adapter is used with the turbine disk installed in pwa71908 fixture mounted on pwa71991 polish machine rotary table with disk aft flange up. Adapter consists of a tool body that connects to a polish machine arm at one end and has a pad holder end for retaining adhesive velcro pads and fine or ultra-fine scotch brite polishing pads
